I recently gained the opportunity to purchase one of two road bikes.

The first being (as the description says):
mans peugeot racing/touring bike. 24 inch frame in dark grey. Made with carbolite 103 special tubing. 700c rigida steel wheels (pitting/rust on rims ). weinmann caliper brakes and dual brake levers, racing style handle bars, 10 speed sach huret gears, black saddle, full length plastic mudguards -all ready for the wet winter months. Used but in good condition, all gears and brakes in full working order. There is some minor rust and scratches on this bike.
(please excuse spelling)

And the second being (as the description says):
20 1/2 inch vintage rudi altic 10 speed road bike. lovley lugged frame lovley paint finnish, almost no marking as shown.

comes with steal rims and alloy hubs with flipflop rear. tyres are high quality metzeler extra prima....these are in unworn condition. huret gear set, ofmega crank set ( some pitting as shown), weinmann brakes, chrome seat post and selle seat. chrome plare crank an bb set with GOLD chain racing mudguards fitted.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was any Lance Armstrong types out there who could enlighten me as to which would be the better bike to purchase.

Regards
Steve

You need to do your homework first. You are considering buying a bike that will fit someone who is 6 foot 6. A link with pictures is a lot more telling then a description.
