My dermatologist has put me on roaccutane. I start it in july. Can anyone tell me whats good for the dry lips you get? Also how bad is the break out on roacc? I have been on yasmin and lymecycline for years and been acne clear(well the odd spots) but whenever i come off yas or lymecycline my skin gets sooo bad all over face, neck, back, chest so i decided to try roaccutane. Are the normal side effects bearable. Did anyone get bad hairloss?

no, you dont lose any hair, side effects you'll get are dry skin and dry lips, ive been on accutane since february 10, and its helped alot, i finish taking this accutane in july and my derm told me all the redness will go away 2 months after im done taking it, omg that makes me feel so good you have no idea

The best thing that worked for dry lips for me was Vaseline in the tube.

Also, my derm gave me a prescription for Pramosone ointment for the corners of my mouth. They got really dry too and the Vaseline didn't work there.

The only side affects I had from Accutane is dry lips.
AND, REALLY CLEAR SKIN!!!!

No Hair loss, no suicical thoughts, nothing else.

there are many side effects taking roaccutane but you may not get them. They are very dry skin, sore red face, cracked lips, dry eyes, dry private parts etc. The more serious ones are hairloss, depression, suicidal thoughts. ****** roaccutane side effects, it will give you the listxx
