Hi, Just wanted to know if anyone has been to any of these places listed below in Marrakech and can advise me on what they are like and if worth the visit. What is the vibe, crowd, and prices like.
Cafe Extrablatt
African n' Chic
Le Comptoir
Suite Club
Sukkar

Also any other similar places for cafe's, restaurants, lounges and bars would be most appreciated.
Asmaa; Thanks. Have you been or know of the places I mentioned. I choose them because they all seem reputable, upmarket but with a set menu and price. I would rather pay 30dhr for a coffee in place where that is the price, than 20dhr for a coffee where the price is actually 10dhr. Hope that makes sense.
Asmaa; Yeah, I have been Morocco twice before so know about the working girls. Took me by surprise the first time, got recommended a club called Diamont Noir so went, got talking to a girl bought her a few drinks then when me and my friend left she was like you want me to come back with you, and when I said no she got pissed off and said I cost her money etc. Lol, after that I avoid discos, but like reputable trendy places where I can chill and relax etc and if prostitutes are there I no to ignore them and only talk to normal girls or guys who are just out to have fun and not work and have fun.

rule # 1 : get away from the moroccan women who hustle (prostitution),or maybe they just want to take your money. they will be all over you (at the bar ,club ,lounges) .
try to go with someone, invite the (faux guide),just don t go alone.
for restaurants always tip the server.beside that don t worry about anything.

conclusion : have fun
and don t let the people in jamaa lfna ,put a snake arround your neck...you never know what can happen.
cheers

afrikan chic is okay, beautiful place but i didnt like ANY clubs i went to there but i loved the cafes. my husband is from morocco, they are lovely people and i didnt like the clubs because they treat them like SHIT and charge them extra for everything...mama afrika is near africn chic, toubkal cafe is in djemma el fna is cheap, cafe alhambra is nice too. if you really just want to party go to pacha. the clubs and bars have lots of prositutes and the owners are assholes to moroccans. you have better chances of being treated well if youre NOT WITH a moroccan cause they HATE each other there... also there is a law that moroccans cannot talk to tourist you may get an innocent friendly moroccan fined and thrown in jail. i miss morocco so much, if you get a chance go to essouira or imswan. peace.
