I am planning on taking a semester off my sophomore year of collage and taking a backpacking trip through Africa due to my deep interest in the continent as a whole. I am a young woman, have good travel experience and am nearly fluent in French.

What are places that I should visit along the way? Where should I go /stay? Any advice would be helpful. Please don't comment in a hostile mannor or negatively.

I was watching a show on Africa and I would want to visit this place, probably the most beautiful contient in the world , but unfortunatly there is so much fighting there Stay close ot your guide and go with a friend.

don't comment in a negative way? why?

Africa is full of crime and criminals who prey on foreigners - especially women. You don't want to go there... unless you like the idea of getting abducted... and being held for ransom.

Plus there is 5.5million diseases there and government instability in every single country.

Go to Europe instead... its way better than those third world garbage countries.
