I just bought the HP g62m laptop. Heres some of the info i customized on it:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) Processor T3300 (2.00 GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2)
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M [HDMI, VGA]
FREE Upgrade to 3GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
250GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
I've heard that the celeron processors are crappy, but I really don't need a super strong one because I'll mainly be using it for the internet and just the sims 2. Obviously I took the free upgrade to the 3GB memory, and it offered a free upgrade to a 320GB hard drive, but it had only a 5400 RPM, and my boyfriend said this was kind of a scam since the 250GB has a 7200 RPM, so do you think that was the right choice? And do you think this will be an overall good laptop for the time being for someone who doesn't need that much and who will be a college student soon?
oh, I'll also be using it for things like iTunes, storing pictures, etc....
