First of all, my problem starts out with a final that my teacher gave out. I usually am a pretty good student, but when I was given my test back, it was basically an F. I was really, really surprised. The first thing I did was I compared my test with another classmate of mine- the answers we got on most questions were the SAME, but for some reason my teacher marked my answers wrong and hers right. I soon told my teacher about the mistake, and she took the test back to regrade it. However, after about two weeks later, I still didn't receive my regraded test or a new test score. I emailed my teacher just to remind her.
Right now, it's already the end of the grading period and I still haven't gotten any word of my teacher correcting my test. I have pretty decent grades in all other classes, except for her class. I even checked my end of term report, and she never even changed my test grade.
I am now in need of some advice. Do you think I should email her again, but will that sound like I'm impolite or nagging? If she doesn't change my grade because it's too late, should I talk to the principal? I'm in a 10-day Thanksgiving break right now, so I'm not going to be able to talk to her until next week. I'm just simply upset because I now have this TERRIBLE grade all because my teacher didn't grade my test correctly.
@Mr.Gavin - the test was multiple choice, so it wasn't like I could write the answer down or anything.
