Advice for Accutane starter

So after trying so many different thing with no sustainable result. I have decided to go on accutane. I will be going to see my doctor. For those who have tried accutane. What advice do you have for me.
 
Sunscreen spf 30 or higher, eucerin is a good one, it will help calm your face and lighten the dark marks. Either way, if you are going on Accutane, you will need a sunscreen period! Lots of water, your skin will be drying out, other than that, your multivitamin and your good to go.
When I was on it, I had to go once a month for a blood test, to make sure my liver and kidneys were in check. I was on it for nine months. I have never had acne again! I tried just about everything, before this, to no avail...
proactive etc.

Wow, accutane was really rough for me so i wish you luck, but my face is now clear (knock on wood) what i didn't live without while i was on it was chapstick...keep at least one everywhere...your car, your room, work...i mean everywhere! mositurize like crazy. DON'T PICK! i had clear skin all my life so when all these bumps started coming up i went crazy and picked at my skin and now i have pitted scars which my doc says will eventually go away, but still it was avoidable. Mac makeup worked the best. make sure that you wash your face extremely well at the end of the day. oh also i used cetephil face wash and moisturizer it is the most sensitive for your skin during that time. good luck.
