Advice about getting a job at Blockbuster?

I put in an application online last Wednesday and now I know I need to call them. My problem is I don't know what to say when I call. I don't want to sound rude or too desperate for the job, but I also don't want to seem too laid back like I don't care about whether or not I get the job.

I'd like to know what to do, like step by step sort of from the moment I dial the number.

I also would like to know what to wear if I do get the job interview.

To help you get an idea of what I look like, I'm about 5', 115lbs, Wide hips, and an large, ehm.. chest. I am not fat by any means, but I'm not toothpick thin either.

I know not to wear heavy make up, I should do a natural look if I do wear any, light jewelry, no perfume, clean and trimmed nails, no nail polish. But as for pants, I don't have slacks, and I don't really have a button up shirt or blouse. All the ones I did have I grew out of. As for shoes I only have skateboarding shoes, converse, running shoes, and formal heels for prom with about 2inch heels.

If you have any extra information that could help me get this job I would really appreciate it. I want this job so badly. I love the thought of working at a place where I get to talk about movies and video games.

So to recap the two things I need help with are:
1- What to say when I call them and ask if they have had the opportunity to look over my application.

2-What to wear.

Thank you for your assistance and have a nice day,

Kayla Leighanne
Yes, I know they are going out of business, but I really need the money for school expenses. If I have a job now, it'll be easier for me to get a job in the future. I've already have a short term job on my resume. Besides, experience is experience.
