I have a simple question.
I have a GED, and 40 completed semester hours. Am I eligible for advanced pay at E-2 upon entrance to boot camp? I opened my boot camp pamphlet and took notice to the fact that 24 semester hours are required for advancement to E-2. I was enlisted under E-1 and I was told that I was not eligible for E-2. Are they mistaken? Can this be fixed? I have opted for 4 years active duty and 4 years reserve, with 1 year training under the Air Traffic Control program.
