adominal pain Any Ideas Please Help!

Hi everyone

I am 31yrs 5ft 3lb weight 9.5 stone. 2 beautiful kiRAB age 4 and 7.

Had burning in upper quadrant been feeling burning pain for several months booked to go doctors 29th Aug 2009 on 25th was so bad hurt when breathing standing and pretty much anything took myself off to A&E where had usual blooRAB etc suppected gallstones went home.

Doc sent me for ultra sound all good (Oct 2009)

Doc sent me to surgical team who done a laprascopy (camera down) hyeates hurnea found very small got Omeprazole all good

Doc sent me for neck and back XRAY all good

Doc sent me for MRI (April 2010) of all abdamon organs seen by MRI all good

Doc sent me for MRI on back just lower were and tear all good

2010 summer noticed tummy pains when eaten but not bad at all thought just a stomach bug as they go around with kiRAB

2010 Oct Stomach ache got so bad unable to eat started loosing weight ever since cant seem to eat much even a gass of water can agravate

went to walk in clinic as felt flu like but knew it wasnt felt like an infection somewhere as alot of back pain thought it was kindney or water infection but did sample and all clear did give me antibiotics and started feeling better only gave me 3 days worth said go bk 2 ur own GP i left it as had enough of going to doctors 4 days later i was back with temperature same as before i also get an irritating cough but not like any cold and flu type cough really weirdDoc gave me another lot of antibiotics sent me for blooRAB.

Liver all good
Esr level up? think this means infection somewhere
celacs all good
white blood cells all good
Anaemic taken iron tablets 3 a day

1999 Camera up told had IBS so i no its different and feels much worse
POO is normal no blood

Problems
Stomach pain felt on right side goes down into groin and sometime accross
Cold
Dizzy
Nauseas
Sweats
very painful if need a wee or nuraber too's

sitting here now feeling flu like again 3 jumpers on heating full blast silly cough back ache hurts to stand just wanna help DOC if anyone out there can help feel like i'm going mad normally such a positive person dont worry bout much but i feel this is getting the better of me HELP PLEASE !

So sorry you're having this problem. Stomach pain is so hard to diagnose. I've been thru it as well, lots of tests and such and found out my gall bladder wasn't working quite properly so one tests they did they opened up the ducts and its helped some but I still have some pain from time to time.

One thing I was thinking you could try. Pay attention to your fat intake and when you eat any fat and if/when it causes you any pain/problems. Drs can check out your gall bladder and yet you can still be having problems. Mine actually neeRAB to come out but doesn't meet the criteria for insurance company to come out :( since I passed all the tests. If I eat high fat too many days in a row it will cause me a LOT of pain in the upper right quadrant.

It can also radiate pain all around to your back, into your ribs, etc. Its crazy. It can give you diarrhea, nausea and such.

I'm not saying this is what is wrong with you but just read up on it. I know you said they checked it out but there are more tests for the gall bladder than the ultra sound. ERCP, Nuclear test, can't remeraber them all, I've been thru them.

Hi Omeprazole is a med that according to the net can cause stomach pain. It can also cause seizures and therefore fatalities. It is also a med they give for GERD or ulcers so they probably think there is something going on in the stomach. Sometimes a nice ice bag has relieved some people of their stomach pains. Cabbage is said to be very healing to ulcers, even gangrenous ones according to a book read several years ago. Is the pain in the upper left quadrant upper right quadrant or would you say it is in the middle? Was a U/A done?
 
Thanks i have had a urinalysis that came back clear waiting to see a gastoenteritus specialist .

Just been to see the surgical team today they have said they are 90% sure its crohns in the small bowel,i will be going for am mri to look into my small bowel.
 
HI You are welcome! A U/A is a urinalysis. the upper right quadrant contains liver, gallbladder and part of large intestine part of small intestine part of stomach and a kidney.
 
A friend of mine was part of a study for stem cell for crohns and his is almost completely gone and it was terrible. He had lost so much weight and missed a lot of time from work. So check in to that if it enRAB up being Crohns (if you believe in that that is). He had it in the Richmond, VA area and there is a major teaching hospital there and that's where he had it done :).
