Adobe troubles: I installed adobe on my mac and then I removed it. Now I can't

reinstall anymore, what to do? I think I didn't deactivated it before uninstall everything. Now if I try to run the setup again a message appears saying: "The following disk images failed to mount"
The image's name is "Adobe CS3 Design Premium.dmg" and the reason of the failure is "codec overrun".

What can I do to solve this?
