Is there an easy way in photoshop (or Gimp) to outline a shape/image in black. For example, I have flowers that have no outline, the pettles melt into transparacy. However, I want the flowers to have black outlines. I know I could pen the outline, but the mass of material I must outline prevents this. Is there a filter or some other way to easily outline an object in black?

Thank you very much!

it depends on the picture. if you just want to draw an outline around the whole image you could create another layer, select the part image you want outline with your prefered selection tool, expand the selection a couple pixels and fill with black, move the layer underneath....
hope this helps!

you need the pen just outline it and your good to go trust me my mom is a major in graphics and stuff like that she teaching me adobe
