Adobe Flash Player installation help!?

I click on install.. everything runs smoothly and it says Installation Complete but when I go to a website or something it still says You Must Upgrade your Adobe Flash Player. I have installed and uninstalled the program in hopes of fixing it, and I have rebooted my computer countless times. Please Help!
