I must be really stupid asking this simple question. I was doing this old tutorial to build a contact forum for my portfolio and i can't get it to work because I didn't assign any variable names to the text fields for example name, email, message. And I've tried looking everywhere in 'window' and stuff for the part that used to be attached to properties where you assign instance names in older versions of flash to assign variables to objects and i can't find it!
