Yeah, exactly what is it? I have heard a lot of bad things about it, one of them including a rights issue that pretty much ended any hopes of getting an anime to be subbed. What are they, and what exactly do they do?

They appear to be an Advertising Agency, Japan's third largest at that. I guess they hold a deal with Japanese licensors.
