Hi everyone,
I have a Yamaha YPG-235 keyboard and have been using the built in, always on, sustain function on the keyboard. I liked it a lot. However, I just bought an M-Audio SP-2 piano-style sustain pedal to use with my keyboard. I notice that, when using the pedal, it sustains the notes for much longer than the built in sustain effect to the keyboard.
To be honest, I like the shorter sustain style of the built-in sustain. It was my understanding that a sustain pedal on a digital keyboard just turned the built-in effect on and off, but it doesn't seem to be the case since the pedal sustains notes much longer.
My question is:
Is there a way to adjust the length of time that the pedal is sustaining the notes? Any ideas?
