Adjusting a timing belt on Toyota Camry LE?

I have just replaced a lot of parts on my car such as the water pump, thermostat, and timing belt as well as some other things. I am having some problems getting the timing belt to adjust and work properly and ''fitted''. Is there a trick to getting the belt to adjust to the right fit? What do I need to do to properly adjust the timing belt. The car is a 98 Toyota Camry LE with a 2.2, 4 cylinder engine. Any help would be appreciated, the car is up on jacks in my driveway :)

these are self adjusting tensioners on these , if something ain't right better get a manual and make sure its right, engine damage might happen if you turn it over
