I have a little boy that I am not the biological father to, who I have raised for over 4 years. His bio dad is extremely violent, has a long criminal history and has not seen him since he was six months old. The bio dad now says he wants to sign his rights over. But he has been extremely violent to my wife in the past. The forms he will have to initial and sign with two witnesses and a notary, say that we have to put down our address. This worries me because I don't want this guy getting my home address. So on these forms, can we leave it blank where it asks for our address until after he signs his part and mails it back, or could we use a PO Box instead of a physical address?
