Adding Texting to Family Plan-Verizon?

it would be added to each phone but you could possibly switch to the everything plan call vw cust service

I would suggest the SELECT plan which gives all lines up to 5 unlimited text,pix,video, to any network in the US. Which is a 30.00 total increase in costs. for 4 phone individual feature plans are not recommended at all especially if you dont monitor how many are being sent and received 30.00 a month and no worries. Also no contract extension so no strings attached just more value for your service.

We currently have 4 phones in our family plan. If we wanted to add texting would we have to buy it for each individual phone or can the account owner buy texting and the texting would be shared amongst the 4 phones.

You either add it to each line or you have to upgrade to the select plan which offers unlimited to all phones.
