Adding freon to a 2000 grand-am Pontiac?

I need to know how to add freon to my car (2000 grand-am Pontiac). If at all possible please give step by step directions, one guy is tellin me he knows how and where to put the freon at....i'd rather do it myself cause he looks just as lost as i do....or if you can show me a website that has step by step directions it's greatly appreciated....thanks in advance!
