Acura Legend LOUD whistle coming from car. 8 Degrees outside?

We got in the car this morning and it is like 8 degrees outside. We did let it run to warm up for like 15 minutes. Once we got on the road there was a loud whistle coming from what sounded like the heater. What the heck could this be?
 
could be alternator could be belt could be pulley could be fan motor could be vacuum leak
 
The last time I heard a whistle coming from my car, I had popped the hood and found a little leprechaun. He had this little train whistle and he was just blowing it so loudly. I couldn't stand it. I asked him repeatedly to just stop whistling like that. I could tell that I had frightened him. He quickly ran away cackling, "Tee hee hee".
