acura 3.2 type S having transmission problems, please help..?

about 2 days ago this started. whenever it wants to go to 2nd gear it sounds/act as if it were on neutral .. i would have to let go of the gas then press on it again so it can keep driving...
i know it sounds weird but thats whats going on..
by the way its a 2003
 
Take it to a transmission shop, it sounds as if second gear clutches are starting to slip, they can give you a better assessment of your problem.
 
I am so sorry, but it sounds like you need a new transmission. Honda Motors is horrible at making automatic transmissions to withsand their V6 engines or even their 4-cylinder engines in the case of the 2001-2005 Honda Civics. You may want to join an Acura forum as they will have more info about your transmission than we will.
 
be ready to kick out $2500 your transmission is soon to die, happened to me this september an you may want to take it to Acura they will give you a 3 year/36000mile warranty unless you can find something better
