Actors that you just 'don't get'....

Any actors out there that you just don't get or can't understand the hype around them?

I have to say for me:

- Keira Knightley
- Zac Efron
- Jennifer Aniston
 
Hopkins CAN be a brilliant actor, when he bothers.

Too many Hollywood films he has 'phoned in' though.

BUT watch him in Nixon, The Lion In Winter, The Elephant Man, or his performance as Hitler for the BBC in the 70's...
 
Brad Pitt.

I saw Burn After Reading yesterday and he tried to do some character acting with only a strange blonde bit on his hair and some silly movements to help him. Nooooooooooo! There was one shot where I thought he looked quite good looking which is a first for me.

David Tennant.

Too much shouting and gurning.

I have a general aversion to beautiful young women who sleepwalk through cracking parts that they have been given because their face looks good several feet high. Sienna Miller is one but there are other offenders.
 
I don't like Tom Hanks, or that pair who did the Starsky and Hutch film .. (names escape me). Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson ... especially the first and last. I do hope 'Hermione' is not going to huff her way through HBP but I suspect she is.
 
Jessica Alba - okay so she has a nice figure and pretty face but what else is so special?

Vince Vaughan - of the "frat pack" actors I find him the least amusing and I wasn't a fan of Dodgeball

I totally agree. He's crap at everything. I just don't get why people keep throwing money at him to be in films. He just plain sucks.
 
He's really quite bad. Watching Con Air was unintentionally hilarious what with him and Malkovitch competing to chew the scenery.
