Active Standby Question E61

Is there a way to only show what calender entries you have for the day and not all the other shortcut keys? I know where to change what the shortcuts do but there is no option for off. I don't want my screen cluttered but I do want one or two plus the calender for the day entries.
I'm new to Nokia and s60v3.....thanks.

I don't think you can only have the calendar entries on the main screen. It's either everything or nothing, unfortunately.
