Activating Verizon iPhone 4?

I recently got the Iphone 4 for verizon. yesterday i got it and quickly plugged it into itunes, skipping all the steps just so i could play with it. Now today i try and go to activate it and it wont work. what am i doing wrong, and once it is activated how do i make it so my iphone is my phone on my line instead of my driod 2? thanks alot
