Activating the Razr v3c after flashing it..

Hello!

I am receiving a silver Razr v3c (Verizon) by my uncle who owns a verizon store here, on Deceraber 7th. I am going to flash it to Cricket using the guide/software mentioned in this thread: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1019667&page=1&pp=15

I was wondering, though, how am I going to activate it? Can I call 1-800-CRICKET and have them do it over the phone, or what?

i did the same thing. it cost me 15.00 to activate the phone. the flashing for me worked flawlessly. good luck.

im planing on doing this also.... and thats exacly where i got stuck! ok so after you flash it wut do u do? can u use the same esn for cricket or wut?? wut other changes do u do?

Guys, I asked HOW DO I ACTIVATE IT WITH CRICKET AFTER I FLASH IT. Nothing else. No one has been able to answer that question, but asked others. For those who have flashed their phone, HWO did you ACTIVATE IT. Did yo ucall them? take it to a cricket store?

Yes, go ahead and call CricKet and have the ESN ready so they can put it in their system. To my knowlege, they will charge you $15.00 USD to do this. Then they will tell you to program it by dialing *228. That's it. NOW PLEASE DO NOT YELL AT US.

if you don't already have cricket, you will also need to pay the first month of service up front.

Don't let spartanwarrior2 get to you, it's alright to get frustrated once in a while. It's not like he is the authority around here anyway (neither am I). I'm very glad for this community because they helped me to take my phone from a $50 watch to a $50 paperweight with lights to a $50 phone. I am very thankful to those who took the time to help me out and answer my questions so I would like to do the same if I can.
