Activating BEV receivers

I am looking at buying a 9200 receiver from Kijiji and activating it on my current account. Will I be charged by Bell for having a 3rd receiver even if I don't rent it from them??

On a second note, will an HD receiver work on a non HD television?

Not on a monthly basis. Installation may require extra equipment and an installation charge.


Yes. The 9200 may need some configuration on a HDTV to work properly with an SDTV. It needs to be in single mode and have the tuner 2 outputs active. Another option is to set the HD outputs to 480i and connect it to the component DVD inputs on the SDTV (if it has them.)
