If you're a teen and you're on accutane you can take the drug for a year and then your acne will most likely go away for a couple of years. For me, my acne came back in my early twenties, however, this is more rare. Most people with acne don't continue to break out heavily into their twenties. The nice thing is, if the acne starts coming back you can do accutane again for a while and then go a couple more years completely acne-free. That's my experience.
