It's the chicken and the egg thing with acid reflux and asthma. 75% of people with asthma also have reflux. Acid coming up can irritate the lungs and cause an asthmatic reaction. All of the squeezing of the stomach that takes place with asthmatic coughing can result in more reflux. It can be a vicious cycle.

If you have both, the trick is to aggresively treat both and at the same time to get things back under control.

may be, but take antacid and prokinetic drugs
it is still problem and go and see the doctor

The acid irrates the esophagus and causes asthma symptoms.

I have both but on my acid reflex medicine my lung function testing showed only a little bit. Do inhaylors work for you?? Recently my breathing has gotten worse again and i am trying to get it back under control. I am out of all physical activity but cant find an inhaylor that works.....

I was thinking of asking if a neubulizer would help? Any idea?
