I made my living for 25 years as a sign painter. I used petroleum based solvents, lead based paints, actone...

At 43, I developed hypertension, which lead to strokes, kidney failure, and heart problems. With no other obvious reason for my health issues, it was all chalked up to all those toxic inhalants. My career, and my love of painting came to a crashing halt, and now I am 48 years old, and totally disabled.

I cant even use bleach without a respirator now. I would learn all you can about the real statistics, because those in the industry don't want you to know. I learned the truth the hard way. Best of luck to you!
