ok recently i dropped my laptop and messed up the disk drive not sure if this might be the cause but it might help. a few days later i was moving my laptop and went to plug it in to a external monitor it gives me a red tint. i thought it was just the monitor so i switched and it happened again. my laptop screen's back light doesn't work and that is why i use the external monitor. it turns out that its only the monitor that gets the tint and the laptop screen is just fine. can anyone help me figure out what the probelm is.
