acer aspire 5536 bluetooth help!!!?

i have an acer aspire 5536 series it has windows vista and when i press the bluetooth button my bluetooth on my laptop wont turn on it just comes up with the bluetooth logo with a big red cross by it i want some help in knowing what to do to make it work?
 
I can only guess you need to open menus and go into network connections and see if the wireless is enabled or disabled. Laptops don't normally have the wireless enabled. It may be an issue of installing the hardware drivers also. Only a guess though.
