I know that Accutane has a long long list of side effects - some of which are still being documented. And I'm well acquainted with some of those side effects. I was on two separate doses of Accutane. Once for 6 months, off for 6 months then back on it for another 6 months.
That was 14 years ago.
I'd like to know if there has been any new information - specifically whether it has been known to cause skin cancer - melanoma.
I have a black spot on my lip. I have a doctor's appointment coming up. If it does turn out to be skin cancer, I'd like to know whether Accutane COULD have had something to do with it.
