Accurate Results: Pregnancy test while on birth control?

Ok so I am on birth control right now. My doctor prescribed it where I do not take the week of sugar pills (so I don't have a period). My fiance thinks that I might be pregnant and wants me to take a test. Will the test come out accurately if I am still taking my birth control pills??
 
Whether you're on birth control or not, the test will give you the results. Sometimes they do give false-negatives though. I got pregnant on birth control, so good luck.
