I am making a get well card for a fellow artist in the hospital, very sick. I spent a lot of tedious work making very fine lines for tree bark on this tree. I drew a hand holding a paint brush and a big gob of acrylic paint at the end of the brush dripping onto the black and white tree. So half of the front of the card is acrylic, half graphite. I was really tired a little while ago and decided to find some fixative and call it a night on the first page of the card. Well what I thought was fixative is actually, Elmer's Spray Adhesive... Is my card going to be constantly sticky? Will this Acrylic paint be ruined? It has been about 5 minutes and the card remains sticky, so needless to say I am concerned. Any help will be much appreciated!
Accidently used spray adhesive instead of fixative on art, will this ruin the paper?
