Accidentally half cooked chicken fillets in the microwave, Are they safe to finish in

the oven? I put chicken fillets in the microwave to defrost and it didnt pick up the defrost button when i pushed it and has instead cooked them on full, they look about half cooked now.

Are they safe to finish off in the oven? If not why not?
