Accidentally did F4 Restore, laptop repaired at shop who advised they'd recovered my...

...photos but...? They told my husband to go to Computer...Lost files... Disk D. All thats there are hundreds of thousands of photos I've viewed on ebay etc, not the ones I've taken and edited on Kodak Easyshare. I'm desperate to get a few hundred photos of my children back! Can anyone offer any advice please? There is the occassional personal photo there amongst the random pictures, when I click through hundreds of the codes (files?), But even if I click on them I dont know how to save them or what to do so I return to the list of codes and I can't find them again. Does this make any sense to any of you clever computer wizzes? I will love you forever if you can help! Many thanks, Jessica
