A man hit me while I was on my motorcycle, causing me all kinds of trouble which include 100 thousand dollars in medical bills. He has the minimum of 15 thousand and my attorney does not want to sue the guy because "he has nothing to go after". I just don't understand how things work here. So the guy who hit me gets off the hook and has nothing to worry about other than a traffic citation and higher insurance rates while I am crippled, unable to work, and stuck with these high medical bills. How can this guy get away with this only because he has nothing? Can't I still sue him on my own and maybe in the future this guy starts making some real money so I can start collecting? The trouble his guy has caused me is too great to let him off the hook.
