I am really nervous that i won't get accepted into the university of south florida. That is my number one choice and i won't settle for anything else. I didn't do so good freshmen year cause i was never there due to an illness, but i gradually have been doing better.

I haven't taken any honors classes or any advance placement courses, but i plan on taking all honors classes my senior year. I have a 2.9 unweighted gpa. I was a member of HOSA and i plan on being a member again next year. I am also planning on doing tons of volunteer work over the summer.

Is there anything else i can do to increase my chances of getting excepted?

Well, I'm not really familiar with anything you can to increase your chances but I do know that if you don't get expected than you can go to Edison for two years or any other community college in Florida and it should earn you enough credits to get into the University of South Florida.

Well first of all you need to get a grip. If you get rejected you do realize that you will have no other choice if you don;t settle, right. Then you'll be at McDonald's. So find a few other schools, South Florida is not the best, there are other great options. The biggest thing that you can do is to improve your grades, your GPA is a huge factor. If you are a junior now you only have 1 semester to get your GPA up, because they will only get your transcripts from that first semester when you apply. So study hard.
