A locomotive is pulling a train and their combined length is 137 m. It accelerates uniformly from rest and reaches a crossing 1.8km from its starting point after 900s.
a) How long after the locomotive reaches the crossing does the train clear the crossing.
Assume that the acceleration remains constant and ignore the width of the crossing.
b) How fast is the train moving as it clears the crossing?
