I have a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback. I've owned it for three years and the AC has never worked. It appears that it has been retrofitted for the newer freon type. I'm not sure if it just needs a recharge or if the system has a leak. But I'm afraid that it's been so long since it's been used that the seals have gone bad.
Anyone have experience with AC? What will it cost to have it looked at? What does a full repair (worst case scenario) cost? I'm afraid to put much money into it as the car is cheap and old.
