cam: microsoft life cam model 1407
my webcam will work on 1 pc but on the pc it works on i cant preview the cam it says please check connection or if its connected to another device but will work fine on msn things like that on the pc it dont work on i am able to preview the video that works but it wont work on msn this cam was bought brand new it didnt come with any software just a cam in a box thats it both my pc's have similar spec and exactly the same program's on it can i get both machines to totally forget they ever had a cam that will fix my problem bare in mind there was never a disc its just plug in installs nothing there to uninstall it
formatting any of my computers is not an option i cant afford to buy a windows xp disc by the way both pc have windows xp pro on them i know my question is abit all over the place but i need help if you want any more info leave your email address and i will get back to you
