Most likely you have a faulty wheel speed sensor. On the grand Am, the sensor is part of the hub assembly. Now determining which sensor or if that is for sure the problem, will require the use of a scan tool, which will have to be done at the shop. AutoZone's little scanners generally only scan engine codes so there really isn;t a free tip to determine the fault 
The shop will probably charge from $40-80 for the diagnosis which they might waive if you have them perform the repair. Hope this helps.
