'Abra Ca-Doo-Bra' movie

Hi. I thought I'd ask about the most recent DTV 'Scooby-Doo' movie. I know I don't often get a lot of feedback on this stuff, but I thought I'd try anyway. I've noticed that Matthew Lillard is voicing Shaggy there rather than Casey Kasem. Anyone know why that is? Did Kasem retire from the role? I know Casey declines to voice Shaggy when a script calls for him to eat meat, but even Lillard played Shagg as a vegetarian in the movie. Just sort of curious there.
 
Casey Kasem has retired from voice acting in general, and from his DJ role in American Top 20 and 10 as far as I know. I think he retired back in June/July of 2009 from AT20/10 and I think his last role as Shaggy was in Scooby Doo and the Samurai Sword, and he did one season of the new Scooby Doo Mystery, Inc series.
 
Okay. Thanks for the info. If I get a chance to see the 'Mystery, Inc.' series, I'll look forward to listening for Casey's trademark 'Zoinks!' one more time. :D
