About Verizon Wireless phone?

I'm eligible to upgrade my phone now before my contract is up. And if i order the phone i want off the website i get an extra discount. My question is after i get the phone what do i do after that? Do i take it to the store & let them activate it or what? It's to expensive in the store or i would get it there, can anyone help me?

I acutally just did this on Monday. You order your phone and they send it to you in the mail (usually next day). They send you the phone and a how to guide (has a yellow border, you can't miss it).

1) You dial 1.877.807.4646 from any phone (except your new one) and follow the instructions.
2) Turn off your old phone
3) dial *228 from your new phone and follow instructions.

Simple as that.
