Hello everyone,
I'm very close to buying a W810i.
I just can't seem to get a competent-sounding salesperson at Cingular. It seems as though the reps. just tell me what I want to hear.
So, I thought I'd ask the forum for some feedback on whether I'm making a good choice or not.
I can't seem to find out how much video the phone can store -- or pictures for that matter. I have read that the picture quality is very good though; and that a memory stick upgrade is possible.
Also, has anyone got the TeleNav addition? I'm looking at getting that as well.
I know that there is a secondary unit involved with TeleNav, and I'm very interested in ascertaining how the extra equipment fits in to the whole cell phone picture, i.e.:
Is the GPS reception the same as the phone's?
If you have poor reception, does the GPS fail to function?
I'd also like to know the type of features this GPS has. I can't seem to find this information anywhere.
Would the TeleNav even work here in Hawaii? (we can't access the atomic clock, and all the satellite dishes I see are horizontally aligned; never pointing up.
Any information regarding this cell phone is truly greatly appreciated in advance. This forum appears to have some knowledgeable contributors and I look forward to a response.
Sincerely,
English Tom
