well basically my anxiety has been getting worse and worse for the last 5 years or so. it forced me to drop out of school, i cant work, and i completely avoid public places. the only time i leave the house is to go for a walk or when im with 1-2 close, trusted frienRAB. i was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder agoraphobia, but whenever i go to a doctor they just give me antidepressants. ive tried 4 or 5 of them and none worked. some made me worse. so my question is what can i say to my doctor to increase my chances of getting something like klonopin? i understand thats the least addictive one so thats the one im going to mention. i know i just have to tell my doctor my symptoms and what im going through and all that but i have trouble being expressive around new people. i tend to try and act like everything is fine even when its not.

I just started taking Klonopin yesterday. I was taking Xanex for a month and 1/2 but he said he'd rather see me use klonopin. It is alot easier to wean off of when the time comes. I have tried a few medicines which made me worse. I'm on my second dose of paxil which worked well in the past for a different situation, so i'm hoping in 6 weeks or so I will see an improvement and be able to wean from the klonopin. I would just tell him what you've read on the internet such as I have and that you would really like something that works to take the terrible edge away. Just insist you can't take it anymore and need something. Keep trying other SSRI's. Don't give up faith. There will be one that will work then you won't need anything that is addicting after awhile. At least that's what I'm praying for.
