car, but now the police is at my door? I was changing lanes, I was on the right, going into the left lane. I was already in the lane, when this girl bumped my car a bit.. I drove a bit and then stopped, and she followed, we both pulled over and got out of the car, we stood there and I asked her what do we do ( it was my first "crash") and she said I don't know, after standing there for 7 mins and looking at the small dent on my car and the black part of her bumber (no dents, just white paint off her car) I told her I was in a hurry. my thoughts were jumbled, I hadn't eaten all day, and my thoughts were on my pregnant mother who is due in a couple of months, (I'm the oldest and her pregnancy means more work and errands for me) .. I mentioned my mother's name and that she was pregnant, I was in after shock and probably rambled a confusing mess of words! Anyways.. I got home and lied to my mom about the dent since she freaks out and was gonna head to the police station on a chance I got to run some errands, but I have been swamped with school and college misterms, so I didn't get a chance to go in and report anything.. I wake up with a police man at my door saying I'm guilty of a hit and run, and that the other party is willing to talk it over with the insurance company.. but I stopped and asked the other driver, who is older than me, what to do and she didnt say anything.. I'm so lost, I'm 18 and so stressed about this.. What does it mean? Is there anything I can do? I've never gotten in trouble before!
