Many people who has the SX1 have such problem:it is locked by mistake,but that does,t mean you can.t use it.My sx1 is locked on Jan 20,2007,for i am a newer on sx1,so i can.t use it in all the winter vocation.when i came to school,i use the winsup(06)to replace the 15,so although my sx1 is still locked,i can use it normally.
