Here's what I want to know.
Why do people to this day waste time on the internet, debating the color of Egypt?
There are a lot of black people (myself included) who are very sure that egypt was black as Alek Wek. As black as Akon. As black as Wesley Snipes with huge lips like Jay-Z.
Then there are ignorant white people who till the day they die are convinced that Egypt was not black and never was black.
My question is why do both camps get on the internet and actually argue with each other??? Why? Why? Why?
I know Egypt(Kemet) was black I don't need to argue that with anyone. It's not like with in a few minutes and a couple of exchanges of thousands of words that all of a sudden. I'm gonna change their minds. I know better than to convince ignorant people to see the truth about the ancient past! They WANT TO STAY IGNORANT! FINE, LET THEM!!!
I stopped arguing about this with ignorant white people on the internet ages ago. Why do some of you(on both sides) still argue this point?
The past is the past. The truth is the truth. And THE PAST AND THE TRUTH BOTH DON'T GIVE A D*** ABOUT YOUR ARROGANT EUROCENTRIC VIEW OF THE ANCIENT WORLD!!!
So again why are some of you guys who study the ancients, allowing yourselves to get caught up in arguments over the internet with conditioned white folks who'll never change their minds? What's the point? What did you gain out of it?
